En uno de sus múltiples viajes Ulises, rey de Itaca, naufraga perdiendo su barco y la tripulación. Ulises consigue llegar a nado a una isla desconocida. Allí, sus habitantes le encomiendan la misión de rescatar a doce doncellas que han sido raptadas por “Circe”, perversa hechicera que tiene atemorizada a toda la isla, Circe cuenta con la ayuda de minotauros, espíritus, centauros y un peligrosísimo cíclope. Ulises deberá rescatarlas antes de que sean sacrificadas, y así contar con la ayuda de los isleños para regresar a Itaca.

Ulises tendrá que atravesar peligrosos acantilados y selvas en su camino hacia el castillo de la hechicera. Se enfrentará con terribles enemigos, desde muertos revividos con encaqntamientos a seres mitológicos de pesadilla. Con su potente maza tendrá que abrirse paso sin piedad, ¡sólo Ulises podrá salvar a las doncellas!
