Adel es un marciano que al llegar a la Tierra como explorador es capturado por un matemático loco que le encierra en su castillo. Los marcianos dominan la radiactividad, y bajo los efectos de esta logran mutar sus propiedades físicas, así, desde Marte reparten por todo el castillo comida y aparatos radiactivos con los que Adel podrá cambiar sus propiedades, además de una salida teletransportadora hasta Marte.
